Drove some kind of Opel, maybe an astra. Was fun rev matching and heel and toeing the thing after not driving for like 4 months

It’s a Corsa, the fetid turd of GM’s Euro lineup. Handling sucks, but it’s not such a bad car.

Oh come on. I know we are supposed to hate on Vauxhall but times have changed. The Corsa may not be better than the Fiesta but it is a lot better than most of the stuff in that segment.

Arrrr yes. The Vauxhall/Opel Corsa D. The staple diet of the teenager who’s newly passed their driving test and the small families second car. They aren’t fantastic but at that price it’s cheap, affordable and practical.

The Corsa D is an okay car but the Corsa E looks much better.

He’s also got the LHD version, so it didn’t have the steering shaft running through right above the clutch. *grumble grumble*

It also seems to have two functional wing mirrors.

Didn’t corner that hard to feel any understeer, but when flooring it in first gear it did have some very bad wheel hop.

So it was a Corsa. I thought it was some kind of Astra because it seemed kind of big for a Corsa.

I think it was pretty good for being a cheap econobox.

Good to know it was a car!
